A Garden Home Christmas

Hey Again!
This past Wednesday, the 21st I had the chance to perform a public concert at the Garden Home Nursing Home, in Charlottetown PEI. Along with a slue of RNs, RCWs and LPNs forming the staff choir, we performed several Christmas classics and favorites at the GH Resident Christmas Concert: "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", "Silent Night","O Come All Ye Faithful", "Away in a Manger", "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and a few others.
In the picture below is a snapshot of the Choir and myself at the piano performing "Joy to the World" with candles and music in hand.

Not only did we have the choir singing their hearts out we also enjoyed the Maritime re-known group The Joy Makers carrying out "Here Come Santa Clause" and "Christmas in Killarney", a dance and song by several Filipino performers, a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Clause along with a duet and solo with Cathy Craig (Voice) and myself (voice and piano).
Below is a picture taken of Cathy (left) and myself (right) during our duet of "O Holy Night" followed by my solo performance of "Happy Xmas - War is Over" and "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire"

Hello,  Who am I?
My name is Travis Boudreau and I am native of Prince Edward Island, Canada. I am a Musician and Teacher currently studying Music Education at UPEI (University of Prince Edward Island) majoring on the Clarinet with goals of a Voice minor. Alongside with schooling, playing and other commitments I hope to be able to give you (the reader) a clear insight to the life and times of my music career here on PEI.
Along with blogging and such I hope to post some audio and video clips of several performances both on the Clarinet and with Voice and document all of the success and failures of my career. (laugh)
